420A Is this the valve or canister please?

Trying to replace the charcoal canister and purge valve on my non-turbo 98 eclipse gs 2g dohc 420a. Will someone please confirm if the black part in the pic is the right purge valve because I can't find it anywhere on my car, and I think they sent me the wrong part?
Is this cream colored part (had to borrow the pic from the net because I can't find the pic I took of my part on my phone anywhere) the actual charcoal canister or is it supposed to be the purge valve because I was able to find it on my car finally and it was in front of the passenger front tire. If it is the canister, may I please ask where to find the purge valve on it so I can replace it because I need to take it off to hopefully find the part number on it so I can order the right one?
If anyone has a purge valve and charcoal canister for this car they would like to sell me pretty cheaply, please message me because I'm on a very very limited disability income and can't afford to pay $100 for another charcoal canister from AZ.
I'm not a mechanic and sure wish I had taken automotive in college instead of environmental.

The bottom one is the right purge solenoid valve. The canister is maybe the size of a coffee can, and all black.
