I just bought a rebuilt 2g 4g63t motor from Kar king....the motor that was in the car was blown...someone told me once that happens the turbo is no good is this true? and if it is is it possible to just drop the new motor in without the turbo? thanks

it is possible, it would just be a huge pain in the ass and would be much more work then it would be to just get a turbo, you can get a t25 (stock turbo on) ebay for probably 50 bucks. Everybody and their brother is trying to get rid of them since most people upgrade to get more power.
Definitely dont try to remove the turbo. In theory it might seem like a good idea, but in reality it would just suck

No the turbo isn't always blown. You need to check to see if there is any shaft play on the compressor wheel. make sure the fins are not touching the turbo inlet and make sure there isn't any in and out shaft play.

if your worried get a new wastegate, ive seen a really nice one that upgrades the psi to like 14, is adjustable (so it doesnt really matter what the spring is set to in psi since its adjustable...) and i believe it was 80 bucks... let me look for it...

Correct me if im wrong, but didnt the 4g63't' motor you bought come with a turbo on it? And if so, why does it matter if the one from the old engine is working?

Karkings engines are just rebuilds. They do not come with a turbo, just the block and head. I dont see why your turbo would be shot unless some debris from broken valves or other internal engine parts made its way to the turbo. Such as... through the exhaust manifold or oil lines.
