Is this front case any good? (pics)

I pulled the front case off my motor to remove balance shafts/replace seals but idk if i should reuse this front case or buy a new one. the outside of it was just covered in grease and oil which i hope was from bad seals but idk if it could have small cracks in it leaking oil. let me know what you guys think heres some pics. thanks.

it never hurts to be safe, and replace the oil pump
if you have high miles i would replace it

Case loojs alright. But just in pics we wouldnt be able to see small cracks you could see in person. If you have any second thuaghts then just put it in the extra pile on your sgelf and get a new 1 as well with all new seals.

Kind of hard to tell without seeing the gears and inside the oil pump. I doubt that it has cracks in it, probably just leaking out the gasket or seals.

Ya it's hard to tell by the picture. If you have to question yourself, better to be safe then sorry and just get a new one...

The front case is just a piece of cast machined aluminum. The part of the front case you want to inspect are the oil pump gears inside the case.

I would replace those oil pump gears for sure if it is a mystery front case.
