Is this car worth buying and fixing?

Ok this should be a simple yes or no question but i will probably be over analyzed as always by me and by all of you too ;) But here is the deal that i have in front of me right now

96 GS 98,000 miles on it, 5-speed, upgraded wheels, front bumper is missing, and the frame is slightly crumpled in (already have guy that fix that), leather seats, all the options!!! $750. He said that he went to start one day and it wouldn't crank.

My question is: Would it be worth it for me to buy the car and get it running again? And try to sell it? Or but it and keep it and turn it into GS-T (how much would that for a moderate build to start??) and be one of the few in my area to have one? Or what?? I need some opinions and ideas? :hmm::hmm:

If I was you I would get it fix it up and keep it. So many people hate on the 420a but it is a great motor and people prove it more every day. MY VOTE IS YES!

I would have to say no. Seeing as how it's got a lot work that needs to be done to get it where you want it to be, you could find a different GS that's in better condition for the same amount that it would cost to get the frame straightened and the body work done. Unless you have the time and a really good hook-up to lessen the costs, I'd find a different one to build. Hell, for 3.5k I'll sell you mine. Just needs the engine built for higher boost levels and you've got a 400HP DD.

Even if you fix it up and sell it, it's not going to be worth much with frame damage. If anything I'd recommend keeping it for yourself and turbo'ing, which can be done for under $1k. I'd also offer him $500 for it ;)

I'm in your area, kind of. In my opinion the car would not be worth it unless you are going to keep it for the long haul and even then I would find one without frame damage.
