Is this a Quaife??

Hello, I purchased a used Quaife differential from a user on this board. I had it sent to my moms house because I am in California training with the Marines and my car is at home. I asked her to send me pics. The pic I recieved of the word "Quaife" on the differential looks home made. Is this a real quaife of did someone just etch this on? Thanks, Brian.

That looks like every other Quaife I've ever seen although it does look like they did a crap job putting your logo on, must not have been held in the machine very tightly while they did that logo.

Looks like a Quaife to me, but like Kyle stated, the logo just wan't applied the best. I've seen this happen with other misc. items, so it's not really uncommon.

The only other Quaife style full LSD for a DSM I know of is the unit from Karking. They retail for $750.
