is this a evo 16g?

The numer is 9178-05200. I could only find one post with these numbers that said it was a small 16g, the only thing tho is the waste gate actuater pole is straight and not curved.

5200 is a small 16g..Nothing wrong with that..

"52" stamped into the compressor cover could also be a "big" 16g from a JDM Galant engine. (I've seen, and measured 2).. Grab a micrometer and check...

Don't worry about measuring.It's a small 16g..

You should notice a little more turbo lag..It should spool around 3k, so a little after the 14b does..But on the pro side, the butt dyno should notice an slight increase in power....Even running wastegate pressure, you should notice a difference..
