is this a boost leak?

In 2nd gear I can build 18 pounds of boost. when i go to third gear i cant build anything over 10 pounds.

If I launch the car in 1st it pulls really hard. when I hit 2nd it wont build over 10 pounds of boost.

I am wondering if it is a boost leak issue or a problem with the BOV. The car came with a blitz bov which from what I hear kinda sucks.

Boost leak test it and report back.

It definitely has to be a boost leak. In 3rd boost will hit 14psi and rapidly fall to around 8 psi. Gonna have to test it when I get back in town tomorrow.

Also I believe someone has the balance shaft out of time, at 5000rpm it feels as if the motor wants to vibrate out of the car. Gonna just start building my spare motor and slap it in the car. Previous owner of the car did a bad job.
