I have been trying to resolve my idle issue.

So as of right now I have the EGR blocked off and sealed, a FIAV Bypass plate.

The car will idle fine when cold at 1100 rpms which is what I have it set at.

It will even idle fine when warmed up for a little while but out of nowhere it will start idleing high at 2k rpms and sometimes it will drop to 1500 and then it will even start to idle surge.

I have done boost leak test after test and I can not find a noticeable leak. I pump the system up to 30psi and it bleeds off and takes about 60secs to get from 30psi to about 10psi and then it bleeds really slow after that down to 0psi.

When the system is full of air, I can hear it rushing through near the Intake Manifold as if it might be escaping?

I know if there was a leak there shouldn't it sound like tap tap tap like an exhaust leak almost?

I am also getting a random misfire, and I have replaced spark plugs(BPR7ES gapped .022 to see if it was blowout, no change from .025), NGK plugs, Cam Position Sensor, Coil Pack, Tested Resistor pack(pass) had my FIC 1150's sent in and cleaned(passed testing), had ECU sent in and checked out at ECMLINK(passed), tested the Crank position sensor(passed) also cleaned the crank sensor, checked all mechanical timing (all lined up), Also replaced the o2 sensor Denso.
Checked compression
Cylinder 1: 152
Cylinder 2: 150
Cylinder 3: 150
Cylinder 4: 153

Here is a video of it ideling. If you watch about 16 secs you can hear this his and it will stop and go multiple times. (the hiss sound)

When you filled your engine with air, did you spray around with soapy water to look for bubbles? If not, do it again, but with the soapy water. If you find no bubbles, I'd start thinking maybe the throttle body shaft seals are leaking. Those are simple to replace, but a little time consuming. Are all your manifold nuts torqued? I thought I saw steam or smoke or something coming up from the manifold area. Did you do the EGR delete properly? I've done it before and always had high idle afterward until I put it all back in. Found out long after I failed to do everything right even though I thought I had. But definitely spray the soapy water on everything around the manifold when you re-pressurize the engine.

Hi,
Yeah I use soap and water when doing a BLT. That's why it's driving me nuts.
Yah that smoke you seen is from my catch can it has a filtered breather on it. Was getting blowby in my intercooler and didn't want to have to worry about cleaning it out.

The egr block off plate is sealed with the gasket and some gray rtv. It doesn't leak.

Yeah I just rebuilt the throttle body when I did the fiav bypass. It's nice and tight no leaks from it either.

That sucking noise in the video is loudest on driver side and the only thing I can think of is intake manifold but it's not costant as you can hear and idle is good until it's warmed up and hot.

I was thinking about running seafoam through one of the capped off vac lines and see if any smoke comes out other than the rear.
