Is there a replacement 02 sensor that doesn't involve wire splicing?

I bought an OE bosch 02 sensor last night. Guy said it should just plug in, with no splicing involved. I get home, and notice the wire is only about a foot long on the new 02 sensor. The one in my car, has about 3 feet of cord from the 02 sensor to the plug. [upstream 02 sensor, on the exhuast manifold].

I'm wondering if there is any inexpensive replacement that involves no splicing? or should I just return this sensor, get a universal type 02 sensor, and learn the ways of wire splicing ?!

I've tried searching, but there aren't very many threads about replacing an 02 sensor. most seem to be about the downstream 02 elimate.

ok soooo my o2 went out a while ago too soo i replaced it with a bosch universal and all the wire colors matched up sooo it seemed easy enough but now all my a/f reads is rich... i dont know if the bosch is bad or what but i spent like 90 bucks on it and it didn't fix n e thing. i took it to a mechanic to get the CEL checked out and he said it was a malfunctioning front 02 he said just to check the wireing soo i did and it's fine i might have to try the denso one and c what happens but i dont understand how this one dosent work...... :(
