Where the fuel line from the fuel filter meets the fuel rail is there a gasket?

I was trying to change out my fuel filter and couldn't get the goddamn nut off! I didn't want to strip the nut so i was thinking to take out the line AND the filter together but wasn't sure if the was a gasket where it meets the fuel rail. Since i didn't have a spare in case there was i left it alone.

i drive a '97 eclipse Gs Spyder N/T

anyone know?

There isn't on either end. BUT, there is an o-ring that seals the pieces together. It goes around the part that slips into the rail. I believe there's one on either side, fpr side as well as the filter side.

Good luck.

So i can disconnect the fuel line from the rail and all go back the same just bolting back on...PHEW!

Thanks.

Its always a good idea to replace the o-rings on the end of the fittings, there is only two bolts holding the line to the rail.
