will i have any problems if i run the fuel filter right off the rail

i just wanted to run a smaller higher flowing fuel filter and i didnt want to put it on the fire wall

it shouldn't cause you any problems to run the filter right before the fuel rail. Might I ask though, how do you plan on mounting it?
