Is SBR-GT13 over kill?

when i drop my stroker in, im gunna delightfully be tossing my t28. i think the gt12 is a good looking BB turbo, but dont want to miss the top end. the car will be a Daily driver, 2.3l and 400hp. also should i be considering anything from FP? Whats the difference between the slowboy's gt and the fp30s?

No one makes better of the shelf turbos than Mitsubishi and no one modifies them better than Forced Performance. Get a 20G or an FP Green if the budget allows. Both will be screamers on a 2.3 stroker. Both of those will get you to 400 WHP without a hitch.

FP says the 30s are an evolution of the green if im not mistaken, someone let me know?

I've done lots of research on both turbos and there is alot of difference.
the fp 3052 is close to the gt12 in terms of air flow.
Both are very nice "streetable" and have lots of top end.

The fp 3052 is a balistics concepts center housing. It is water cooled and you have to run a different oil line off your block so that the bearings don't recieve high oil pressure. It was designed with a brand new housing to bolt up to our cars. The new housing has a perfect volute, witch makes it super efficent. They also make it out of stainless steel. The only negative is that you will easily have 2 grand into it by the time your done. You have to buy the 250 dollar O2 housing because of the V-band style clamp, the special oil feed, external wastegate, etc.

The gt12 flows well also and should be considered as well. They have great spool and are a very capable turbo. Mark from Slowboy had a GT-11 on his car and hit low 12's easy with it. They are almost ready to bolt right up.

the Fp30's are prob. arguably the best turbos out there but it comes with a heavy price tag. Gt-12 or 13 would be very good for a track beast that's driven on the street.
