I'm running Brian Crower 272s with an Evo III and have noticed some loss of low end torque... But, the gain up top is worth it in my opinion. The 264/272 combo is a good combo, but I plan on going to a bigger turbo in spring so I feel I would've grown out of that 264 cam real quick.
The 264 really isn't worth it.I've been running HKS 264/264 cams on my 16g and wouldn't trade for a 272/272 setup. 264/272 may be the perfect compromise, but the mid range torque that I have with my setup is just ridiculous.
If you update cams you might as well do valve springs and headgasket and studs as well. Something to consider if you decide to go that route.
i cant belive ive finally got it all together
but 2weeks till its tuned
