HKS 272 cams

I just installed brand new HKS 272's in my 2.1 de stroker engine. I was wondering if there is any type of break in I need to do for the cams?

Well, it's probably too late now.. But the way you should break in cams is to start the car and immediately bring it up to 2500 or above and leave it there for about 15 minutes. That's how i've always been taught and FFWD said that would work on theirs when i bought them as well

No its not too late yet I still have the motor on the stand waiting on a few parts to show up. I thought that I had to let it run around 2000rpm but wasnt for sure. Being that this is a brand new engine I need to set the rings too, so could I accomplish both at the same time or is there something else I need to do to set rings on wiesco forged stroker pistons? Also can I install the front cover without the castle plug installed? Its in the mail and holding me up. Thanks for your help your only a few hours from me.
