For a couple of days now my engine has been making a ticking sound, sounded like lifter tick, but today I noticed that my oil dipstick had popped out a bit (blow by I think) and after about 10 mins of driving while stopped at a red light my engine started idling low, about 500 rpms, and then just turned off but I was able to turn it back on and continue driving but soon after the ticking noise got much louder.
Well soon after that I was on the freeway doing about 70mph when my engine just died and I saw a puff of white smoke coming out of my exhaust. After I pulled over I popped my hood and saw some smoke coming from around the throttle body/valve area and then I looked under the car to see if there are any leaks and there was a bunch of oil underneath.
So what do you guys think it is?
