I just got this GSX its one of a kind and this was a big change from a 93 Non-turbo supra, but i wanted a AWD vehicle to see what its capability. But i hearing noises by the timing belt and every time i start the car it squeaks for a 10 minute then it stops. Is this common for GSX's models.

Maybe i should tighten the bolt on the timing belt or change the belt? I'm not sure what to mess with.

More than likely, it is not your timing belt. The sqeaking you are hearing is probably one of your accessory belts. The noise you are hearing by your timing could be your timing belt tentioner pulleys. They may be worn a little and it may be time to replace them. the water pump may also be making that noise if it about to go out. Mine did that for about 2 or 3 months before it started leaking from the weap hole.

i check and it was the pulleys that needed to be replaces...i just put a new belt as well but i guess i have to replaces the pulleys...any recommendation for pulleys as in performances?

so wait.. your pulleys made squeaking noise? pulleys usually make a soft sandy noise. It sounds like you just need to tension the belts. And i honestly wouldn't go aftermarket pulleys especially for the harmonic balancer

agreed, bad pulleys don't make a squaking sound (at least in my expierience) I don't know who gave you the advice to replace them but i'm not sure about that one...

have you tightened the alternator belt/tensioner? The need to be pretty damn tight on DSMs to keep them from squeaking, hell mine is squeaking right now :D

replace harmonic balancer. It has probably separated and the squeal you are hearing is it spinning inside itself.

right on dsm tunners.....i just tighten the alternator belt and it is running great..it is true that you have to tighten it other wise it squeaks when you start the car.

Yes, I know because that is what is happening to me right now. Always check the easy things first, so good call. Mine only squealed for 5-10secs. I tightened it and all was good, but for some unknown reason, the entire bolt/adjuster/lock assembly got loose and fell on the road somewhere!!!!!!

Mine Galant did the same thing. the bolt that runs through the alternator fell out, every time i tightened the Alternator belt, the alternator would just swivel.
eventually i figured it was missing, and made a new bolt with dual lock nuts, washers and threadlocker.

worked great, till the turbo went out, and then the tensioner went out...
