Is it possible to do a 1g in a 2g swap and use a 1g coil pack and a 1g alternator(sp?)? If so has anyone done this and could they give some info on the harnesses?

Yeah, I don't see why not. I'm sure the people that have 6-bolt swaps in their 2gs are using the 1g alternators and coil packs.

Why are you in desperate need to use a 1G Alt? Stick with the 2G. You can use the 1G coil pack easily enough.
