I got two fuel rails sitting around and i know one is from a 1g and the other is from a 2g but how do i tell which is which, one of the fuel rails has a bigger fuel pressure regulator then the other. any ideas?

Yes, the inlet are clocked differently. I believe if you are looking at the inlet of the rail the 1g is clocked from SW to NE whereas the 2g is from SE to NW
