im gonna be ordering DSMLink and my cousin wants to know if you can share the dsm link if both people get eprom ecu's socketed for it and just get one copy of the program. are their ways to save multiple settings (for example save my settings as Jeff's car and save his settings as Scotts car???) im curious...let me know

thanks

It all depends if both car are the same model. Like 1gen - 1gen or 2gen- 2gen. Also, you will need to run the same ecu that comes setup for the dsmlink. Because the dsmlink comes with a motherboard to be install in ecu for it to work. Other than that it can be done. I know of couple friends that did that. So it can be done. Thanks oj

DSMlink is a chip and a PC interface package. The software is free to download on their web page. You may want to call ECM to see if they will do that but i dount they will let you buy two chips and just one cable. If anything they may give you a slight discount. You will have to have the two ECUs socketed and the chips burned.

There is no Motherboard to be installed. It is a memory card. I'm pretty sure the e-prom is set up with special code as well. So not just any e-prom will work. For the time and effort they put into their product and the support they give us; support them and just BUY IT![/B]:nono:

The memory board is 1G-specific. 2G's have no such board. It is simply a chip with their code on it.
