Is it even worth the trade now?

Well, i was gonna get an AWD shell with parts to do an AWD swap in trade for my 60-1 (fresh rebuilt) t3 manifold, down pipe, intake with filter and a tial wastegate.

Now the guy wants the shell back, after i strip it, the trans is locked up and there's no T-case included, so all i'm getting is a GSX brake conversion and the rear subframe/rear end drive assemble and a junk trans with no t-case

is it worth it or should i just do what i planned and sell the turbokit above for the price of a 1g AWD auto car i found locally and get rid of my 2g car al together?

I'd keep the 2g and find another donor. I sold my shell for 250 with everything but the engine

well, the car is here, started pulling a few things from it but am about to head to work on a customer's car for a while

Now if i can just get the transmission, t-case and the little pieces for the left front axle (and both axles) i'd be et to go AWD BABY (oh need a flywheel 6 bolt AWD too )

Stay with the 2g...

Just swap the rear end, and you still can drive it.

You can spend as much time as you have to find a Tranny and T-Case....

Don't let go that beauty 2g.

Thansk for the support all! The guy i was working the trade with today agreed to just toss me the 97 gsx trans and t-case he had for a back-up tomorrow after work. Since a trans was the main part of the orignial deal i had to have a working one or i just couldn't go through with it.

Btu his fear of wanting to have a good spare is understandable so i made him an arrangemetn that i'll either take the bad trans and build it to just as good as the one i'm using so he has a back up (and we can find a tcase to match easy i'm sure) or IF i'm ableto upgrade from my TRE FWD to a TRE AWD by some swappin with Jon i'd just toss it back to him and take the other bad one to build for a spare.. i've built a lot of DSM trannies in the past.. i'm not jack/shep.jon, but i can make them work and shift like stock ones do at least, and that's enough for most,

my thread is going in the drivetrain section, had issues today and managed to get the gsx brakes on though
