I just got my timing belt kit from Prostreetonline and was wondering how many are using this kit. I am a little concerned now about using it because of a few posts i seen on here about the parts not being real "OEM SPEC" parts. I got the kit wich included the timing belt, b-shaft belt, tensioner pulley, water pump, and auto tensioner. Also i added the idler pulley and balance shaft tensioner.
a couple of the parts have numbers starting with the md on it wich i think are mitsubishi numbers??
balance shaft belt - md182295
timing belt - md326059
waterpump - md972052
although belts got theese numbers both are made in germany and say contitech on them, except for the t-belt tensoin adjuster wich is made by camellia and has md part number md 164533 and the actual writing on both the belts are different md numbers ??
the pulleys /tensioners all say there made by gmb & water pump does too but it says on in made in japan and does have the md part number on it so im guessing this is a definate oem part?
Im just wondering if anyone can clear this all up for me, are theese a good kit , has anyone had any good or bad experiance with theese kits ect.....
