hey guys i have a 14b turbo with an internal wasit gate with a mbc setup set at 4 psi but i was told that you caint lower boost on an internal waist gate is this true? what is the spring set at in the iwg? and is there anyway i can lower the boost and set it at a low psi? i know theres a screw or nut on the rod on the waist gate i have it in the middle of the rod i dont know were to position it .....down or up on the wasit gate rod?.... were do i position the screw and what will it do? thanks guys appricate any help

If you are only getting 4 psi then you probably have a MAJOR boost leak. I have a 14b with the MBC all the way backed out and the lowest boost I can get is 11 psi. I can raise it from there by screwing the MBC in but there is no way to lower it. Also there is no adjustment nut on my 14b's wastegate arm.

thanks for your info....but i dident say i was running 4 psi i said i had the mbc set at 4 psi witch is most likely doing nothing since i caint lower boost only raise boost with the internal waistgate but there is a nut like a hex nut on the waist gate rod is that how i bring the boost down? or how did you adjust yours to stay at 11 psi thanks

That's what I'm saying, there is no adjustment nut on my 14b's wastegate arm. I adjust the boost with my MBC. I can adjust starting at 11 psi on up.
Here is my 14b, you can see the wastegate arm, nothing to adjust.
