Internal problem maybe

Well just got the car back from the shop.The mechanic says he has no clue whats wrong with the car and everything is lined up right.He said maybe the people I bought the car from drove it with the balance shaft belt broken so they messed up something inside the engine itself HE said he just doesnt know whats wrong but he will tear the engine down and look :laugh: dont think so..Now its just a really really really loud vrrrrr sound at exactly 6200 rpms dont think there is any vibration though Maybe a very very little bit but I cant feel anythingOther then that the car is very fun to drive..It just sounds like crap

Could be that your oil sprocket is 180degrees off.

Check figure 12c and 13. But you will still need to make sure all the timing marks line up prior to doing this. Or else you will get a false reading. This is the way to do it without actually taking the TB off. If the screwdriver sinks all the way in then you won't have to remove the TB. If not, well then you know the sprocket is out of phase.
