Is it possible to swap the black upper half of the dash in my 95 GS into that of my 95 TSI turbo? I'm wondering if there is any difference in the upper half of the dash in the auto and the manuel version of the car. Can I just uninstall them and install them or do I need to make modifications? Thanks in advance.

Nope, It is a direct swap. You will have to swap the VIN's as well though. Swapping the VIN's is easy though. Just tap the rivet out, swap the VIN, and tap the rivets back in. You want to protect the top of the rivet with a small piece of wood or something so it doesnt look tampered with though.

Thanks for the info man. That's just what I wanted to hear LOL!!!

definitely a newbie question..but can i swap Evo VIII interior into my 98 gst?
im really only concerned about the rear seats fitting, seeing as how its a coupe..think itll work?

Was that a serious question?

Not without cutting the dash apart and probably ruining it. I doubt the dash measurments are the same.

The rear seats dont fit. The fronts fit but you will need custom brackets fabed up, i think wedge engineering still makes them. You could always get your stock rear seats reupolstered to match.

i was more concerned with the seats, not the dash and all that shit. but yeah i think i might do that and get the front seats in, then make the rears match.
