Interior lights aren't working? Gauges/ac

Hey guys I'm working on a 97 gst spyder and my floor lights come on and gauges work but when you turn tr headlights on the gauges and ac controls don't light up
My headlights and tailights are fine

What could it be and what shld I check ?

First thing to check would be the fuse but if the other interior lights are working it would be fine.

I'm going to say bad ground or loose wire.

The floor or door ajar are fine but illimination on the gauges and ac knobs do not light up
