Yay, my first post =)

I just picked up a 97 GSX lowered, kitted, modded blahblahblah... It was fairly crappily done. But thats the easy fix, the parts for it are everywhere...what *I* cant seem to find is interior stuff.

This kid raped the inside of this car, the plastic is marred, handpainted, and outright missing in some parts (Such as the trunk area, no carpet, no plastic, I look over my shoulder and SEE the tail lights) :barf: But I cant seem to find where to order replacement parts. Nor Can I seem to figure out how hard such things are to reinstall, one can assume they just snap right in correct?

Any help would be apprecated. Ill post pictures of my baby as soon as I can....

BTW, I paid 5g for her :)

Also, what is involved in the 60k manufacture checkup? And roughly how much it cost?

yeah also checked for a local wrecked car and get those parts Im sure there has to be atleast one around you right ? :thumb:

Big thing at 60k is the timing belt. But everything on this list below is reccomended by Mitsu ( except for the head studs and balance shaft eliminator... those are for high boost or performance, if you were so inclined)

I think satan will try to stick it to ya for about $600 for their 60k plan? ( anyone concur? ) $400 is average for just the timing belt. Of course, I always advocate doing it yourself for a fraction of that. :thumb:

Oh yeah, and since your new here I wont make a big point of it... but the "search" button up there is great for stuff like this.

-Jerad :dsm: ( not my list... hope the part numbers are right )

Also it seems the spray paint he used, leaves a smell in the car that soakes into everything, such as cloathing, or stuffed animals (my cousins) How do I get rid of this smell, I would not be adverse to getting rid of the paint but I dont know how to do so safely, nor how to disassemble the dash to get to the gauge area.
