I have been having some car troubles lately so i have been looking around and trying to find myself another car. I found a 99 Eclipse RS 2.0L for sale and i was wondering how reliable are they? Its got about 78k on it and the overall body looks very well taken car of. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thnxs Much

They are as reliable as the person who owns them. As long as it's in good condition when you get it then it should be a reliable car. Especially being a 420a.

Pretty good car, pretty good mileage, and just plain pretty. So long as you can be content with not being a pretend racer, the NTs are plenty of fun. You can still take a ramp too fast with them.

Get the VIN and run a car fax. Is it a manual or an auto? Take it for a test drive, see how well it shifts. Take it onto a bumpy/crummy road and get a feel for the suspension (it should be relatively smooth if its been taken car of). Make sure everything works. Ask to see service reciepts.

Once you have done all that, go with your gut feeling.

Just remember, when buying a car don't 'settle' - wait until you can find exactly what you want, then buy it.

Goodluck:dsm:
