..since i have a set of AGX struts and Tanabe Springs (2in drop), my questions are will i have clearance issues? will it be as easy as just swap out the wheels? and what tire size should i run :confused:
 
Since they are only 8" wide and a not so aggressive offset you won't have any clearance issues. The 225 tires will be fine and have a flush fitment as far as tire on wheel. Have you looked at xxr 527 wheels? They come in more aggressive fitments and with a little stretched tire and stiffened suspension you will have an aggressive look without clearance issues

will evo rims have any clearance issues? im planning to do an evo brake swap later down the road.. i dont want to have to buy a whole new set afterwards. are there any other wheels you would recommend? and finally what size on those xxr 527's would you recommend on a 2in drop.. without having to flare fenders..?

actually.. here's a better question, what's the widest 17or18in wheel/tire combo i can run on a 2in drop and pre gallant front knuckle/evo brake conversion.. that i can also run after the evo brake conversion aswell?

Let's see if i got this right. I'd be able to run a wheel size 17x9.75 XXR 527 (without flaring my fenders) and 225/45/17 tires on a 2in drop? :pray:

You jumped from 8 wide to 9.75 LOL. I would stick to their 8.25, I didn't run anything that agressive with my 2g so someone else would have to chime in. I think a roll may be needed with that wide (anything after 9). Maybe with a 45 offset it would clear the fenders but not brembos. :hmm:

Hmmm.. so I shouldn't have to roll fenders if I go with a 17x8.25 +35 offset? sound cool. what size tire would you recommend?

It's possible that you'll have clearance issues with that width and offset. The determining factors will be tire size and ride height. Tall, beefy tires and/or low suspension will probably call for some light fender tucking in the rear.

With that said, I'd suggest a 45 sidewall with 235-245 width tires.

245/40/17 is the way im going on a 17x81/4 inch wheel. It will lowwer the car just a bt.
