:talon: has anyone ever heard of using a smic from a supra in a 1g dsm? if so is it a good idea if i'm not wanting the fmic

Just check out VFAQ.com under intake, it's right there for 2g and 1g. Most of your questions can be filtered through there before you post it. I have yet needed to post because of VFAQ and the search up in the right corner.

yes u can is the answer if all the "Search" respones didn't give u a hint at that. Unless you get a FREE supra intercooler its not worth it, you get ABOUT 2-1/2 extra PSI but thats just enough to make a stock fuel system bad so you have to then get new fuel pump, rail, injectors and a control.

My buddy got a free intercooler off of a supra friend of ours and it ended up costing him money with fuel upgrades to stop running so lean.

Many people have said the Supra side mount is a GREAT upgrade for low-to-mid horse power applications...Supras run 400hp threw them, read a couple of threads and you will see. Putting on just an intercooler isn't going to give you much gain on a stock car, but nor will it make your car overrun your fuel system, you wont need a new fuel rail, but if you plan on upgrading more in the future a fuel pump(walbro 190lph) is a good idea, you wont need injectors or a AFC yet neither, or until you upgrade to a bigger turbo.. I myself plan on getting a Supra Side mount... Ive read alot about it, and most people seem to like it.. :thumb:
