Depends on what turbo you have. 1g 14b or the 2g t25. It looks like that is a direct bolt on for a stock 2g, so my guess is that unless you have the t25, no it won't work.:dsm: After reading this auction again, I noticed that it lists the 420a option for application and they even make one for the 95-98 Laser. LOL

This looks to fit a 2g and the only piece that I can see that you would need (which I'm sure you already have) is the J-Pipe. This kit will not fit on a T25, as the T25 is piped towards the passenger side. This kit is designed for a turbo that is piped towards the drivers side. Thus you would need a J-pipe.

Any luck in helping me find the one I need then? Im new to DSM and am just doing small things to it as its my DD

Well its too cold for me to run outside and check on my break, my buddy that I got it from said its the 16g from the 1st gen

I don't know much about intercooler piping expecially ebay kits, but if your right and the kit above is designed for a turbo that is piped towards the passenger side, then yes it will work for a t-25. Please read your above post again. With all do respect it is very contradictory and rather confusing.

Oops... I'm sorry, the kit in the link is designed for a turbo that exits towards the drivers side, that's why it won't work on a T25.

Thanks for catching that.:)

I'll have to post pictures of it tomarrow, because that kinda confused me of which one to get. Like I said before Im new to DSM so thanks for the help :thumb:

LOL... you mean, thanks for confusing the hell out of you? No Problem :thumb:

What you should do, is pop your hood and look at your current IC piping and then imagine having the FMIC on it. Then imagine how your pipes would/should be routed. Since the IC you've got linked has inlets/outlets on both sides and your TB is on the Pass. side... then it would have to connect to your turbo from the drivers side.

Hope that makes more sense to you.

get a good core and then use the piping kit for a 1g since you've got the 14b turbo

I'd say there's a little more to it than that, personally I'd just go with the original intercooler kit that you posted the link in your first post. If 95carboneclipse is right, the kit should fit!! Let us know if that's what you decide to do, I'm gonna be doin a 14b swap in my ride the next month or so, and will be lookin for a fmic:thumb: Good Luck btw, that's quite the setup you got there for your b.o.v. vent tube, is that black tape holdin it on, or just blockin it off?

hmm odd, is that the original engine that came with the car? becouse i dont belive the 2g gst came with that intake manifold. and it might be a 16g, one easy way to check is to look at the comressor side fins and see if its double fined(16g) or single fined(14b). hmm just a littte bit confused, but back on topic, sice you have a tdo5h, get a fmic for the 2g body and piping for the 1g. should work. i just made my own

What is everybody getting all confused here for? The dude has a 14b or 16g style turbo, and he's looking at the SSautochrome front mount kit for the 2g. All he needs to use that kit is a J-pipe that routes towards the driver's side. I know that SBR has them.

Finally thanks, sorry for confusing everyone haha. So that J-pipe is what I need for running the 2g fmic and piping? Or do i still gotta get the 1g piping
