I am looking into buying an intercooler piping set (upper and lower) for my 2g talon. I also plan in the somewhat near future to buy a EVO 3 16G... Should I hold off on the piping until the turbo? Will the piping not fit the new turbo?

If anything, all you really need to hold off on is the lower pipe. Try www.dejontool.com. They have a wide selection on I/C piping for various turbo setups. They are fast, and relatively inexpensive as well. below is a pic of the 16G I use to have with the J-pipe and lower pipe with it. I believe the only other pipe you'll need is a 's' pipe that dejon sells as well. Good luck with the project.:thumb:

I'd hold of on the intercooler pipes (unless you are keeping your stockmount or upgrading to a bigger stock mount).

I don't think I'm planning on getting an FMIC.. I think I'm just gonna stay wih the side mount. I'm aiming at the 300hp goal.

Having a FMIC would be most helpful to getting a 300 hp goal.

In any event, the site I mentioned should give you alot of insight into what you would need.

BTW, if you get to 300hp, and stay there, you're alot better than most of us! ROFL

I'm still considering different things... And why is that?

Cause myself, and I'm sure so many other people here, have said the same thing. Next thing you know, the car consumes you like a virus and you just keep modding and modding. :p

How true. :) Tyler Durden* says "The things you own end up owning you." I believe he may have been talking about DSM's when he said this.

*Watch "Fight Club"; you'll understand. :)

A Ported stock manifold would fit perfect and do the trick but as far as the o2 housing goes, I personally went with the dump just because the sound is different and hurt others ears when its unexpected.:D ROFL

You can also port the O2 sensor housing to increase flow a bit and try to reduce boost creep, though on 16g's, boost creep sounds like something you just have to learn to deal with at some point. You don't need to get an aftermarket manifold or O2 if you don't want to, though.
