I just pulled the piping and intercooler off my 92 tsi awd. I cleaned all the oil out from the intercooler and piping. i put it all back together and my turbo sounds much better but it felt boggy when i drove it around for a few minutes. After that i parked it for about an hour or so. got back in it and car was faster than ever.

Thats funny that is was bogging at first then worked perfectly without doing anything, maybe there was some of whatever you used to clean the pipes/core with left in them & just needed to dry out. Did you do a proper boost leak test after you got everything back together?
