interchangeable downpipes

Do the GS-T and the GSX use the same downpipe, or do I have to find a GSX downpipe?

They are different. According to your profile you have a gst, Unless you are speaking about another car. You need a fwd dp if you have a fwd, And an awd dp if you have an awd.

Well I wrecked the GS-T and I have a GSX shell that has no exhaust at all and I am researching the parts to get the GSX in working condition.

You can get very cheap downpipes that work great, Brand new off of ebay.

Not necessarily true. I have a awd down pipe on my fwd eclipse. You can try to mount it you may need the converter also. I used my fwd converter and just had to have the flange on the converter end of the down pipe cut and turned to mount up.

Yes, You can use it if you modify it, But I did not mention that only because he asked if they were able to be used as in bolt right up. You can use it if you modify it, But I would just buy a 3" downpipe off of ebay for $80.

There is a good deal of differnece between the AWD and FWD 2g. RRE has a picture of both which I have linked here:

I wish they had a side by side so you can easily tell if there is a length differnce as well. It "APPEARS" as if there is a few inchs added to the AWD version, but can not confirm this, since I really do not know. Sorry.
