Intake pipe questions

I'm going gm maf in the coming weeks and plan on custom-making a stainless steel intake pipe to be able to weld on a stainless steel nipple to recirculate my vc breather hose, but as for the other hose, the one that comes from the charcoal canister to the intake, what does that hose's purpose do ? Can i block off the port on the charcoal canister for that hose ? Or should i just recirculate it as well ?

If you plan on getting rid of your charcoal canister and the other emission related components you don't need that nipple.

No i plan to keep my emissions complete, so i guess recircluate it then right ?

If you plan to keep your emissions, keep that hose.
