Is this needed? I know the knock sensor runs along this but if I run the wiring differently will I need it for any grounding reasons or anything if the sort?

On another note does a 1990 gst have an extra plug in this area? I was comparing my 90 IM to my 91 IM and the 90 appears to have an extra plug towards the top of this bracket. It was oval shaped if my memory serves me right.

I recently pulled my head and forgot to bolt the bracket back on. Thanks for the response.

Thanks. I havent had my IM bracket on ever. No problems.

Double edit: 19eclipse90 set me straight. Thanks.

...but i believe the bottom bolt for the bracket is the one that goes right in to the rear BS. Skip the mounting bracket and build yourself a nice breather hose coming off that port and run it to a catchcan...

So if I put the stock bolt with a crush washer in there I should be fine?

Not the same hole as the rear BS check hole, so you know.

Lot's of mass hanging off the head, I sleep better at night knowing I kept the bracket, sounds like lots of people have not run into issues with it removed.
