Ok, I bought my car 2 years ago, and the only mod it came with was an injen intake, with an injen cone filter. I was cleaning the car today and noticed that the filter is really really dirty. I searched both injens site, and various injen retailers, and I can not figure out if this cone intake is oil?.... So I am not sure how to go about cleaning it....or would I be better off replacing it?

It's working better when it's dirty. More trapping, smaller holes to admit grit.

If you want to wash it -it probably is a washable- use the K&N cleaner, which is Formula 409. You can re-oil with K&N oil. It doesn't need a lot.

Or, grab another filter off eBay.
