I've got GMAC, full coverage I currently pay 650 every 6 months, it would be about 1/2 that if I only had liability. But a year ago it was 1250/ 6 months. I finally had an accident come off, best thing seeing a bill lower than your expecting. This is in one of the highest paying state in the country too.

i pay over $300 a month...but that could be since im only 17 and im driving a "turbo sports car"...but i do like the fact that they take off for AWD, because its a "safety" feature ;)

I pay 74 a month through all state. Thats 250 deductible full coverage 50,000, 100,000, and 50,000. But im 32 and got a clean driving record now...LOL and I get dediuctions like four wheel disc brakes and ABS also AWD.

i pay 66/month for liability and comprehensive(i park in a bad area for school).
My deductibles are 250, and my coverage amounts are 100/300/100.

p.s. I have a multi policy discount with my homeowners, and im 24 and single (although engaged).

Lets see I am 24 years old, married, with no tickets, 1 accident at fault, and 1 comprehensive claims (hit and run), 1 accident not at fault (car hit when parked)

Haha, that will get even cheaper too, when you turn 25.

I pay ~$215 a month, full coverage with a $500 deductible (which has saved my butt already...and my car). That's under my parents insurance, 18yo, no tickets, and one damage claim.

Gotta love safety ratings. My GST has almost 3 times the power my old car did, but it's "safer" and a few years older, so my insurance went down ~$40 a month.

Close. More like $2275 usd.

Damn, maybe I was thinking pesos. My wife and I pay 1300 somthing for 6 months for my 2001 Tundra and her 1997 Talon. I have 4 speeding tickets and two at fault accidents (I was more of a dumbass when I was younger) and I'm 20 but since I'm married and have homeowners I get a discount.

$150 a month total for 2 cars with full coverage and $500 deductible and towing coverage with 2 drivers.

Wow, my insurance sucks. I pay $1970/ 6 mo. That is the minimum on everything, with $1000 deductable on collision...oh, and thats just on a 94 Ford Explorer...not even my freakin' 92 Talon TSi:( I have 3 tickets in 8 months, 1 speeding, 1 illegal passing (passed in slow lane), and didn't come to a full stop at a red light before turning right on red. Im hoping that after a year or so driving the Explorer without incidence it will go down, and it will be about 2 years before I drive my Talon again, so plenty of time to get insurance down, and tickets to leave my record...oh yeah and Im going to my 2nd driver re-training class within the next 2 months. Oh yeah, and on top of paying $369/mo I pay $390/mo for rent, and go to school full time, and all at the tender age of 18.

I haven't really thought about insurance that much, though I started driving and I knew it would come up (yeah I got my Liacences late). But before I jumped right in I made sure to do some research, using my computer of course. During my searches I came across this site, http://www.mercurytheory.com/. I'm a bit of a UFO/sci-fi geek, and thus was attracted to the style. The little flash site has many hidden Easter-egg type of things scattered about the page. Pretty entertaining and effective, cause now I talked about it and ppl are probably gonna click the link and then the word will spread. But I guess insurance companies gotta pull it some how, whether it be gecko, cavemen or UFOs. I'll consider Mercury for the time being, unless another deal comes across my way.

EDIT*
Why do I only have a post count of one? This is not my first post.

I'm baffled as to what this has to do with a DSM related question? Even more baffled as to why Defiant didn't close this...you feeling ok?
