Just wondering what everyone else pays to insure their DSM. I have a 97 GSX and pay $390 a month :thumbdown. I'm 20, and not on my parents policy, so that part of the problem. I just wanted to know of that's average for our cars!

If my insurance would cost the price of my car in even a two year period I would just take off all full coverage. Put on just liability or whatever yor state says you have to have legally. After a year or two you've saved enough to pay for your car again even if you total it completly. I've done it in the past and will keep taking that risk if the money saved is high enough. WOW thats high, how do you eat man??

TSI AWD; I am 20 (almost 21), on my own policy, 1 accident, 2 tickets, I pay a little less than $450/half, but I have to ablity to put down a down payment if I want, so it is about $66/month. That is just liablity. When I add my 89 accord it will go up about $30/month. Best I could find
