I'm 18, no moving violations and had my license suspended for not taking DIP class soon enough..

I pay, 174.85 every 6 moths for PA state minimum insurance with towing and a $100 deductable on everything. Oh yeah, I'm 23 and I have Allstate insurance. They absolutely rock. I've been in a couple accidents that weren't my fault and they have done everything in their power to help me out. They even let me search for replacement parts myself and if I could get it cheaper than they could, they give me the difference.

I am 20 years old i pay 250 a month plues another 200 for my other car man it sucks to be young o yeah i have one ticket for doing 120 in a 55 but currently is not on my record because i went to court for it and cant get another ticket for another 5 months now so i dont think that affects it o yeah that is for liability

been lookin on insurance company sites, but cant get a idea of what the insurance is on a GST or a GSX... 97-99 years... im in Jersey and was just wondering if anyone can give me a ruff idea of what you pay a year for insurance... w/o and points... or if someone can lead me towards a site thanks

I pay around 800-900 a year for full coverage on a 95 gst

a friend of mine has a 91 gst. i think he got one speeding ticket that will be cleared in march... hes 20 and pays $1500 /6 months full coverage + an extra $5000 coverage for stereo/perf parts. but its droping down to like 8-900 after march.

i pay roughly $500/6 months for liability only on a 92 tsi awd.

This maybe a weird question, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is a minimum age to obtain car insurance?

I am 18 and, as of right now, I am on my mom's policy.

you have to have insurance when you have your license (to drive anyway)

and you can start driving @ 16... (license not permit)


the younger = the more $$$ out the ass you pay...


my 2GNT = 140 a month
1g AWD = 145 a month....

each state is different. jersey is 17 so is ny and pa and most of the northeastern

See, I have a 2G GS-T and I am trying to buy a 1G TSi AWD this summer. My mom won't insure a second car for me, so I have to get my own policy. She also told me you had to be 21 to get your own policy. Just trying to see if you have to be 21 is in fact truthful or if she just doesn't want me to get another car. Thanks for the help.

No, you can't get your own policy until you are at least 18. It's a legally binding contract type of deal. No state would let you get into a contract with a minor. So minimum age is 18.

I pay a LOT less... I pay nothing for insurance...cuz I don't need it. My primary means of transportation is my feet. I miss my DSM And I'm not sure, but I think there was a thread on this like 6 months ago.

$139 a month for my Talon liability

All for 1 speeding ticket 3 1/2 years ago.
Only time I've ever been pulled over too.
I was doing 21 over.

I don't have mom and pops to write stuff off for me.
Every Penny I make literally goes to my cars.

I pay my parents 200 a month on their Insurance, Full Coverage. I looked into getting my own policy and it would have been like $350!
