No, yer company rates 2g's the same way I said. You have a 1g, and each model has a unique rating, the GSX being the highest.:thumb:

ohhh yeh my company is some high risk low rate company in LA called Robert Moreno Insurance Services...and I have full coverage with 25000/50000 liabilaties and $500 deductable

Whoa, you seriously run 25/50/25? Dude, if you hit a car and totalled it, do you honestly thind 25k would replace it? What's a new Expedition run for? And why don't you have Underinsured/Uninsured motorist coverage (someone hits you and doesn't have ins). Collision covers the car, but if you get put in the hospital w/out UIM yer screwed...

I'm 19 with a speeding ticket and i pay $67 a month for liability only on my 90 gsx through state farm.

22/m and I pay $50 bucks a month for $100 deductable full coverage (collision, towing, liability, under ins./no ins., etc..) on my 92 Tsi and they forgot to add my good student discount so it should drop to about $45 next month. I'm with Allstate and have no tickets or accidents that were my fault.

Hey..new guy here. 21/m 95 gst. I pay 97 dollars a month, my ins guy told me it would have been cheaper if it wasn't red...I have a $500 deductable full coverage...only one wreck, some ass ran a red light and T-boned my 03 tiburon. I'm kinda of glad though, paid off some bills and finally got my eclipse.:thumb:

Hahaahaahaaaa... Yer agent is doing you doggy style. Look, the VIN does not run for color of the car, only options and accessories (stock). So, to run a quote based on color, yer agent is using his BS technique to the next level. Good luck though, and I hope you have sense enough not to purchase real-estate from the dirty bastard...

dont go with statefarm for sure brother theyll screw you so bad like they did me...i went with progessive and i pay about $1200 a year on a 98 gst full coverage and im 18 so look into it

30/m 99gst i get rapped out of around $700/ 6 months no tickets no crashs. thats with multi car/seatbelt/alarm/airbag discount

i was looking into getting a 97-99 GSt & i was wondering what some people's in the area insurance is looking like. If possible drop me a line & tell me what company you're with. thanx

Regardless where you live get a insurance broker, I looked for like 3 weeks on my own and found the cheapest for me in AZ 320 per month but I got a broker, and in 5 days he found me it for 280 per month. :thumb:

Hey, back with the insurance question. What I want to know is what insurance companies I should call and get a quote from for a 95 red GSX in central Florida? I'm 16 years old, 3.5GPA, Driver's ed and have a perfect record. so what insurance companies do you suggest? thanks.

talk to your parents and try to get under their insurance. much cheaper than going out on ur own. I know, now I have to go out and get my own insurance.

I have no idea how this worked out but i used to pay 1345 every 6 months when i moved to florida under my moms policy. I recently got my own policy and now pay 511 every 6 months....

i'm 20 single in college, 98 GST, CONVERTIBLE, no tickets, perfect record...... knock on wood.

$140 Canadian a month, no collision or theft. I'm 18, my dad's paying for insurance until im ready to pay...im scared

I'm on the verge of selling an accord I own for a 97 eclipse gst, but the only thing slowin me down is the insurance rate fear. How much do some of you guys pay for insurance on it? I've read a few posts where some people said their agent didn't even ask for the model of their eclipse, or that they didn't up their rates when they found out it was a turbo'd model. What ins. companies r u with? Anyways, gotta call my agent soon, but wanted to know what other r paying for a gst. I'm a 23 married male, so if there are any similar gst owners, I'd love to hear what your rates are like. Thnx.

Well Im sure if you have a clean record you could expect to pay between 90-160 depending on who you go through, and thats for CAli to. you'd be surprised the differences you can find in prices with different companies...

you should be really careful when choosing your insurance company, as rates will vary greatly. i was quoted ~5k/6 months by some of the more reputable insurance companies [progressive, state farm,] and most companies wouldn't even insure me [21st century].

you can't lie to insurance companies. when you take your car to the insurance place, one of the very first questions they are going ask you is your VIN. and from that [ your VIN], they will know exactly what type of car you drive [turbo, convt, 4whl drive, etc.] so those people who posted they insurance company didn't hike up their rates when they found out it was turbo-charged, are most likely mistaken. the insu. company knew all along.

[unless they bought liability insurance coverage. ]

i am single, 19, male, with 4 speeding tickets, and i pay 210/month for full coverage for my gst.

another thing, convt. and all-wheel-drive type vehicles usually pay higher premiums. something to consider when buying your car.

good luck. hope everything works out for you.
