instrument panel not working

HELP!!!here is my issue.. I've had this problem since I got the car the only thing that works on the instrument panel is the boost gauge and the oil pressure meter. The fuel gauge stays at about 1/4 and the rpm works up to about 4k, after that even if I punch it it doesnt go further up and the speedometer doesn't work at all. I've tried 3 different panels and still the same thing and no indiglos. the spinning needle behind the speedometer spins so the cable is good so im stuck any suggestions pleeaasssee

but does the trans spin the cable? Pull the spedo gear out o the trans and see if there is anything wrong with it. Have you check fuses on any of this?

yup the tranny spins the cable that was one of my 1st thoughts...and i also chkd fuses
