Installing new valves, regrind seats?

I have new Brian Crower valves going in a 4g63 turbo,the head was supposed to have been done 6 months ago.Is it a must to have the seats reground? Or will lapping be sufficient?

Get some prusson blue or a magic marker an just dry lap the valves. Take em out
when your done and see if the seat has any low spots on it. If they look good put it together and go..

It's not needed. A good lapping will work unless you are really picky.
