Is there any harm in replacing the pads and rotors in the front only, or should they all be done at the same time? I just ordered brembo slotted brakes and hawk ceramic pads for the front, so I was just curious. Also, anyone have any input on my brake upgrade (reviews/opinions). Should be a pretty straightforward install right?

It will be just fine, you don't have to do them all at the same time. If the rear brakes are good then no need to change them.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Both Brembo and Hawk have excellent products, Ive used them in the past (not on a dsm) with good results. You might fing that the ceramic pads seem kind of mushy until until they get a little heat in them and not a really long life span, if you can, use carbon ceramic pads, very little dust, noise and they last longer and resist brake fade better. Im not sure what brembo recommends but power slot I beleive says semi metalic. Its really straight forward brake swap. Maybe check into some steel braided hoses for better pedal feel.

Well the fronts were starting to get a bad squeal (don't ceramic pads squeal anyways? oh well). And I plan on doing some auto x later this year, so I figured why not upgrade. I'm going to put just stock replacement brembo's on the rear with hawk pads as well next time I get paid. Then ss lines after that... Paycheck by paycheck.....;)

I suggest a proper break-in. It helps bed the pads to the rotors, they work better and last longer this way.

I run NAPA's ceramix pads, and have no complaints. Hardly any brake dust, and a lifetime warranty. And yes, you don't have to do the rears the same time as the fronts.
