I installed a new SAFC and a HKS AFPR and now when I turn the fuel pressure past 35psi the fuel line that goes from the rail end fuel fitting(where the stock fpr was) I now have a Autoalchemy fitting there :thumb: , anyway the fuel line from there to the APFR keeps busting, I have tried the goodyear fuel injection line and normal carb line,WTF. I can not turn the psi past 35-37, and It is running like shit at the psi, real lean.

Is there a special line I need or what.

carb'ed engines only have a fuel pressure of 5-9 PSI. so lets think, 35 PSI base, runnign 14 PSI of boost would make FP 49PSI. The autoalchemy end is designed to use a 6AN fitting, so go to jeg or summit and get atleast 1 low profile 6AN 90* hose end. then enough braided hose to get it to where the the regulator sits, then whant ever type of fitting is on the HKS FPR will need a hose end or adapter. I belive there is a VFAQ on hoses. The SS braided line is good for 2300 PSI or some rediculas amount but it can chew up anything it tounches. Look for the earls PRO-350 line, it has a operating pressure of 350 PSI and is nylon braided so it does not destroy anything, plus looks unique. I have been running it for about a year now with no problems.

go to this site http://www.autoalchemy.com/ then look under the upgraded hi-flow delevery system on the bottom, you will see the braided hose. Then scroll down and you will see the nylon line, I have but I used the red/blue fittings. (this picture is of a supply line the retrun line will have to be built by yourself using parts from the cataloges listed above.)
