well i installed my gm maf and translator today turned all the knobs to 0 and started it up, it was idling at 1.5k so i turned the base down one click and it idles fine now and runs great with no fuel cut, but im scared i might be running to lean now? what you think, btw i have stock injectors fuel pump with e3 16g

so basicly im just worried that with the base map turned down one click that i could possibly hurt my motor, any thoughts? thanks

get a wideband and a logger, if you havent already stock injectors on that turbo, i would watch it, but get those tuning tools to help you out. That turbo, needs at least 650s i would say but 560s at least i run those, but im going bigger because im getting link fairly soon.

i know my next part is going to be a wideband 02 and then 650's safc2 and i have a logged but my batter for my laptop took a shit on me so i can only free rev LOL and everything looks the same as befor i installed it, but my question was, turning it lean one click for base ok? or not ok?

do you have a manual, if you are learn go clockwise to richen up the fuel. You dont need a safc, but a logger to check for knock, and fuel trims, more benecial than a safc, i think, and a wideband, watch your boost, too much and you could have problems, run lean and detonation. the wideband will tell you the air fuel mixtures.

Like iugrad92turbo stated. You need 550's minimum with that turbo and I'd atleast get a 190lph fuel pump too. If you don't have any datalogging software or atleast a wideband. The only thing you have to go by is the way the sparkplugs look, but that's not a surefire way to check either.

I currently have 550's on my 16g and haven't had any issues with it going lean, but I'm not running high boost either.

well this is the deal, it wouldnt idle when i had it all zeroed out it was at 1.5k-2k at and idle... so i turned the base one click counter clockwise(lean) and then to comp for that i turned the mid, and wot one click clockwise(rich) so i guess it would be ok i'm at stock boost right now, and 190pump, 560's or 650'sinjectors, and wideband are coming soon but wideband is first, whats a good afmixture i hear anything from 10.0:1 to 14.5:1, and what woud that translate into volts?
