i installed the passenger lower control arm and now i hear a knocking noise coming from the driver side tire, cant pinpoint it exactly but it is from the left side

You installed something on the passenger side, but now hear something on the driver side? When do you hear it in particular?

When posting don't refer to one side as the passenger side and then another as the left side. If you say passenger side, and are then talking about the other side, say driver side. Helps in clarification :thumb: since the passenger side COULD be the left side, depending on how YOU are describing it. Thanks :thumb:

sry about the misunderstanding my description

the driver side wheel was not compeltely tightened, my mistake...

i do have another problem though, when I try to tighten the nut that connects the lower control arm to the wheel, the whole bolt turns with the nut, and I cant get more than half of the nut on. I was thinking maybe there was some kind of special tool, otherwise im gonna slot the top of the bolt with my dremel and hold it with a screw driver as i tighten the nut

im sorry you seem to be misunderstanding

the lower control arm has a built in bolt, i think its called a ball joint
you slip it into the hole attached to the wheel, then the nut goes ontop to hold it in

like this

The bolt you are referring to is called a ball joint. In order to tighten it, put a floor jack under the control arm and Jack it up. This will apply pressure and wedge the joint into the steering knuckle. Now the joint shouldnt turn while you tighten the nut.

tahts a pretty crescent wrench :p

cant do it though because the bottom part of it is flat

stopped at autozone today and the guy gave me some grease to fill the rubber thing with because the grease in mine seemed a little low, then told me to jack it up just enough so i can take the tire off then try to put it on and it shouldn't move
