That is not what you said. Read it again. And a maft does not just set a baseline, maft can tune via RPM points as well.
I think the side discussion of other setups is great for this thread. Great info has been provided here.

EDIT: The site was lagged and i was unable to read the last few posts before I posted.
DSMLink does the same basic job manipulating the ECU that the AFC does. The only way to get away from it is to use AEM or any standalone.
xcz504d: if you intend on making real power definently get AEM. If I had it to do over again I would. My buddy had dsmlink +maft in his 1G, ran decently made decent power, still had trouble getting it to run right. Switched to AEM car runs BEAUTIFULL, he is rocking a 3065 though with a magnus and cams.

. The original poster probably went somewhere else. Before someone makes an assumption like DSMLINK is a piggy-back system PLEASE, get the facts before you do so. Go on their forums or ask them directly.
