I just installed FP 550cc injectors and my car does not even idle. It dies right away.
Do they(550) have to be in order? Or is it because i still use 7cm plug wires?

P.S. I bought dsm ball style injectors

1.What did you take off when you installed them?

2. did you lightly coat the o-rings on the injectors with oil prior to install? Sounds like a vacuum leak.

3. Are you sure the injector plugs are fully seated?

some one told me that i need to lean it out because 550cc just keep drowning, but i already did like +15 at 1k (safc) rpm and it does same thing.

My plugs are fully seated, why do i have to coat my o-rings?

+15 is not leaning them out, you're actually making them dump more fuel

if you don't coat the o-rings, they'll tear when you pop them into the fuel rail

Wow how can you install injectors and have no comprehension of how an S-AFC works...

I do know how it works, i am running 1 BAR(14.5 psi) on b16g with 450cc injectors with out fuel cut.

Well, if you knew how it worked, you would have known that you have to go to the - scale to lean it up and + scale to richen it. And this post would have been unnecessary. Try going to -15-18% and tune from there.

Don't take offense to this, but that is not impressive. Stock boost levels can get that high, and a 16G doesn't move that much more air than a 14B.

i don't know about 14b, becouse i never had one, but 14.5 psi with b16g feels whole lot more than 16psi with t25, and b16g does flow more air than 14b.

By rights there is a problem elsewhere. This car should start and run on the 550 injectors. My car with 660's is only -8 on the 1k setting. I think he has a fuel leak problem or not sealing injectors or not plugged in right or something. Are you venting by chance? Do you have any of the IC pipes off? They car's won't run or don't run very well with pipes off at all. How is you fuel line supplying the rail hooked up and in good condition?

How about the black spacers between the rail and head? Did you get them back in did you over tighten the rail and crack it making it leak there are lots of things to look at get under the hood and see if there are leaks somewhere. You do know that most aftermarket injectors have their own orings right and you have to pull the ones out of your head from the factory ones right?

Just for shits and giggles, check your mas plug also. Also Check the electrical plugs near the fuel rail. Anything that you unplugged. I had a problem when I tried to start my car with the mas plug off after my injector install and boost leak test. Took me 15 minutes to find out.

Where did you get the injectors from ? are they used ? I bought a used set one time (stupid) and they where all clogged up. I installed them and the car rans like hell ! Had them sent out and tested and the guy told me on the phone "throw these things out" ROFL

also SAFC you do want -15

You might want to check your spark plugs too after running that rich. Once your plugs get soaked they won't spark. Just a thought if everything is hooked up right and it still doesn't run. Good luck and keep us informed. :thumb:

no kidding, I can start/run/drive my car fine with my 550's and 190lph pump with my SAFC set to 0

yes but he is set to +15, lets say it again everyone P-L-U-S(as in positive) 15% so not only is he running on average about 20% richer than stock with the 550's but then he is adding even more fuel on top of that. Civic killer chill out and just listen to what people are saying, and you apprently need to brush up on how exaclty a safc works or you would have known that by going to the positive side of the scale adds fuel not removes, which would be what you don't want to do with larger injectors.
