Does anyone know if this is possible with the torque converotor still in the car?

It looks like putting it back in is but pulling it out looks like a real PITA unless there is a special tool available.

Thanks.

Input shaft seal?? Is this the seal behind the converter?? I see no way to do it without taking it off, i just replaced mine. I used a hooked screwdriver (like a flathead but twisted 90 degrees) and just pulled as hard as i could and it poped out. Then to put back in, put some tranny fluid all around the seal and pop back on evenly.

The seal that goes around the shaft that the transfer case mounts onto. Not the one directly behind the convertor.

I wasn't so much worroed about taking it out with the transmission and convertor out. I was trying to take it out without having to drop the transmission. Hoping I could jsut pull the DP and Transfer Case,

Yea it is, just the dp, crossmember, transfer case and thats it. You should be good.

It was my pump seal. It was totally destroyed. I filled in an area with red to show the massive amount that was missing between the shaft and outer area of the seal all the way around.
