Hey guys, I just got an mtx-l plus. Everything that I've read mentions to use the brown wire when installing but this thing doesn't have a brown wire. Only red, yellow, white, and black. Innovatives documentation says the yellow wire is analog out. I've got a 2g with Ecmlink so I was going to do narrow band simulation and put it in the front o2. But I can't find what pin to tap or if the voltage coming out of that yellow wire is too much. Any help would be appreciated.

Yellow wire will be the 0-5v "wideband" output. According to the Mtxl install pdf and is how mine is wired. You will use pin 76 on the 2G ecu. Should be labeled "O2 Sensor Front"

(but they appear to have swapped the colors, yellow will be your wideband output)

Then in ecmlink you can enable narrowband sim. In your ecu inputs, select LC1 for front O2.
What I'm concerned about is the mtx-l has 5 wires. The mtx-l plus has 4 from the PDF I was seeing something similar that the yellow is the output. But can the ecu handle the 5 volts. And should I be selecting the lc1 despite not having one?

Sorry I missed the disctinction between Mtx L with and without "plus". I looked at the plus pdf as well. It appears they just dropped the narrowband sim brown wire. Everything else above still applies. Pin 76, in inputs select LC1 (all this does is setup the voltage range to be interpreted and tell the ecu to look there for the O2 readings) and enable narrowband sim. The ecu will be fine with 5 volts on that pin.

Gotcha, thanks for the help! And yeah that difference between mtx-l and the plus threw me off too.

Sure thing! Let me know if you have any issues. And just remember to pay attention to the note about which direction they are looking at when showing the pinout. The ecmlink pdf pinout I linked is to be viewed looking into the ecu. So when you remove the connector and look at it, it will be inverted from their view.

Good to know! It's cold as hell here so if I can get a nice day that's exactly what I'll be doing.
